Leah Rawlings

Leah has worked in the private sector for 20 years. She dedicated the first 10 years of her career to the specialist treatment of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. Leah completed her ASD studies in the United States under the guidance of Dr Doreen Granpeesheh at the Centre of Autism and Related Disorders (CARD, LA). In 1996 she was promoted to Director of CARD (AUST), in Sydney. In 1999 she opened her own clinic (C.A.P.A.B.L.E. Kids) in Brisbane, Australia.

Since 2003, Leah has focused her professional abilities in generalist clinical psychology and assessment. This includes: adult and juvenile assessment, clinical intervention, counselling, rehabilitation, recruitment, and medical and legal reporting. While Leah no longer provides early intervention to families living with ASD, she does offer consultation and guidance to adults diagnosed with ASD, requiring assistance to better understand and manage their condition to enhance optimal lifestyle functioning.

Currently, Leah is enjoying being a mum, managing business operations, supervising and collaborating with other psychologists, and continuing to further develop her professional skills and abilities in advanced psychological techniques.
